SOUTH BURLINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

The members of the Patrol Division are committed to developing partnerships with community members. These relationships assist our officers in identifying issues that affect the quality of life of South Burlington citizens and together, develop long-term, effective solutions. 

  

The Patrol Division is the largest section within the police department.  The primary responsibilities of the patrol division are to provide services, maintain order, and enforce law for the South Burlington community. These duties include responding and resolving violent and non-violent crimes in progress and traffic collisions, crime investigating, traffic enforcing, various state statutes and city ordinance enforcing, and building community relations. SBPD values the individual strengths and experiences of each of their patrol members and the department works tirelessly to put forth the best of the best.
